Touch is a very easy to use and free Finder Toolbar Script which will allow you tyo quickly create a new blank file in the current Finder directory.
Touch performs the equivalent of typing "touch New\ File.tmp" in a Terminal window. Installation: 1. Move Touch to your /Applications directory. 2. Then drag the icon to the toolbar of a Finder window (the space between the icons on the left and the search box on the right) and wait for one or two seconds.
If the newly-created file is not immediately visible, you may need to click inside the Finder window once. Usage: To create a new blank file in a directory, click the Touch icon in the Finder window of that directory.
