Filesnake is a unique, small, simple, easy to use, portable, lightweight and easy to use archiving/backup application written in Python/Tkinter.
You can backup (up to) six directories at a time to a single .tar file, as well as restore previously backed-up archives.
NOTE: To run Filesnake on your Mac you will have to open a Terminal window and, after navigating to the application`s folder, issue this command from the command line:
python run.py
