Rucksack (formerly iArchiver) allows you to inspect and view individual files without unpacking the whole archive.
Creating an archive is as simple as dragging in the files and selecting the archive type. Rucksack can create Zip, Tar, Gzip, Bzip2, Z and CPIO archives.
With Rucksack`s convert feature you can streamline your archives to a common format.
In addition Rucksack now offers more comfort and time savings with its "quick extract" feature: extracting archives in place by dragging the to the Rucksack icon in the dock.
